Family owned chinese resturant near me got busted recently for selling dog meat.
Pretty fucked up because I ate the beef sticks there multiple times over the years.
There's always been a lot of missing dogs over the past 10 years but we assumed was a stray coyotes.
Which in retrospect was stupid because they are like 15-20 miles away.
I always thought it witnessed it myself.
They also had a boa snake, frogs, turtle, junebugs, and pidgeons which wasn't as troubling to me because I didn't have anything too exotic and as for boa/pidgeon I've eaten fried gator in FL and pidgeon is probably bootleg chicken so idgaf.
I ended up watching a documentary that finds these resturants in china.
Theres over 20 in northern china and at least double in southern china.
People like to claim it's rare and black market but in reality they have neon signs on the resturants that say dog meat so they don't hide it but it is looked down upon by the newer generation.
