The thing you have to understand about living here, is that because of all the illegal immigrants and niggers who don't pay taxes but make use of the social programs, any socialist policy that they try to implement will be fundamentally unsustainable. For evidence, look at the LA School District's most recent teacher strike. We budget tons of money to schools, but it's never enough because there are thousands upon thousands of Mexican and South American kids that aren't planned for as well as the thousands of little Shaquandriuses and LeDashas whose single moms also pay next to nothing in taxes in addition to being on every other government assistance program you could name.
Socialism can only really work as National Socialism in relatively small countries with intelligent and low time preference citizens that pay their taxes (read:white).

I rarely post, but I've driven Uber for a cumulative 1.5 years and it's probably a good solution for a lot of the NEETs here. I often recommend it to people who have no prospects as -SOMETHING TO DO- until they can get something else going.

The only thing Uber needs to do, which I've written on every personal review since I started is charge more for wait time in traffic. I drove a cab for 2 months when I came back from the Navy, just as something to do, and cab drivers make $27/hr on TIME ALONE in traffic. Uber makes cents per minute.
