Today in the paper i saw a health inspection report for a restaurant where they were cited for having insects on the cutting board. Made me think of this. If food manufacturing companies are allowed to have so many insect pieces in their food by the FDA then why is the city health inspector coming down on the little guy for a few insects on the cutting board? But, where money flows, people follow. City life is extremely unhealthy. We have way too many people in our species, especially way too many of the wrong kinds of people(asians/arabs, africans). But even the numbers of europeans/etc can take a good drop. We don't need anymore than maybe 100M-250M people to keep a safe and stable and productive population. Such a limited amount would allow us to get the resources and labor force and food we need to live very well without stressing out the environment, our resources, and space concerns.We could have a whole lot more of the natural world left intact and plenty on metals and elements left, plenty of fuels, much cleaner air and water, etc.
