The KW4 1993 is a PsyOp scare created by Russian trolls to distract people from the Iran conflict as well as disinformation campaign intended to sew discord and public unrest. KW4 1999 is a real asteroid with an orbiting moon but the space rocks are millions of miles away from Earth and will not pass even remotely close to our little blue planet. The scare started out when a random user saw a few YouTube conspiracy videos about an asteroid that COULD hit Earth, but then decided to make a fake NASA larp on Jow Forums pretending to be a scientist and convinced quite a few people that this event is going to happen. Once the scare was started a handful of Russian trolls decided to take advantage of the 'scare' and started creating threads on Jow Forums and YouTube in order to cause even more concern for an event. After a while the Russians found that Anons were regurgitating the fake event and that they were no longer needed to continue posting the event over and over again. Once in a while the Russians would post in depth threads on the possibilty of such an event could occur thus strengthening the belief that the event could happen.
In sum, all Anons on Jow Forums who believed the event could happen got played and there will be no 'happening meteor strike' on Earth.

Idk about the russia and iran part but this is absolutely a psyop. The fact that some news orgs have been running stories using the deranged ramblings of a larpposter are telling though.
Im not so sure there is any one event that they are trying to cover up right now but, what I think is the case, its that they have figured out that during certain times of the year psyops are more effective and that maybe there is something interesting about this particular may/june that they are trying to go for broke with the psyops.
