It reminds them of when they sounded revolutionary two hundred years ago. Torturing language is one of their most precious resources to wash people's minds

To them it is a bad thing

This.

They’re completely tone-deaf and don’t realize the term has zero negative connotations. At least calling someone a Nazi sounds bad to a normie’s Jew-infested brain. “Reactionary” just sounds weird, if not kind of cool.

Because theyve been taught to.

"Reactionary" is just a fancy word for triggered. For example /b/ used to concoct schemes against people for no substantive reasons. In contrast, Jow Forums concocts similar schemes but as a reaction to something those people did that offends them.

>reactionary
most of the responses from conservacucks is like from a script especially when accused of racism. That's why they are like NPCs who are extremely predictable and very easy to manipulate see youtube.com/watch?v=DwIx3KQer54
There are several definitions of reactionary but this is the one that I find the most intuitive and fitting even though not aligned with the official definition

It is a bad thing tho

Why? Disliking the revolutionary progress is bad? Cato Major was a pain in the ass, but usually right (a part when he sperged about medicine).

Lmao, no it's not. That is how idiot liberals use it, because they never looked it up.
'Reactionary' means 'attempting to return to a previous state'. It has nothing to do with emotion or 'reacting'.

Thinking and reacting come from different parts of the nervous system.

You can't fully utilise your frontal lobes unless you learn to disconnect it from the other parts of your central nervous system.

yes it's bad since revolution usually only makes things worse. You need to be more subtle user

It's just a term they use to de legitimize any criticism of their shitty ideology

And to return to a previous state means handing out...

A better question is why do they use populist like it's a bad thing?

it means the ideology isnt based in theory or any dialectic but is a reaction to an opposing ideology. its existence is based solely off the existence to the thing it is in reaction to.

It sounds more dramatic than conservative or defencivist.
