They said 1 year on disability meant we only got $1000 of the $8000 funeral benefit. Just because my Dad thought he would be able to go back to work after he got better.

Why don't you look in to government jobs? TSA, customers and border protection, support law enforcement roles such as police dispatcher, etc. You can probably get 20+$ an hour with a pension and benefits.

Dude I had no vehicle three years ago. I rode my bicycle to a factory and got a job for $12.20 an hour. Three years later I make $20 an hour and own a used Toyota truck. You can get a fake GED and get into manufacturing. From there you can go CDL, boilers, waste treatment, etc.

When i started at the plant I had nothing and the Pajeet sikhs called me “white trash who doesnt even have a car, white nigger.” And now I make more than them and company pays for my specialized training and state licenses. I am a huge fuckup and if i can do it so can you.

Walmart bro I just want to re-iterate here. For someone in your position a government job should be pretty easy to get, it will pay more, you will get benefits, you can retire, and the jobs are fucking easy as cake to do.

You have a long work history. The gov will love that when you apply. They love seeing steady employment, and you've been there so long I'm sure your coworkers will give you good recommendations. Gov hires people at any age. Most people who apply for gov jobs are shitters with bad work history, can't pass basic easy exams because they don't bother to study for them etc.

If you do the studying to get your GED, you've pretty much also done the studying required to pass any government exam. You can then get a cushy easy job with your solid employment history. You'll get guaranteed promotions for just showing up to your job and if you really want to you can work to make the country a better place by actually doing a good job unlike most government drones. Or you can coast along doing the bare minimum. Your job will be what you make of it.

My grandfather worked in a chicken processing plant for 20 years, his boss bought him a new car. He worked there for 5 more years before he retired but that was in 1998. I don't suspect anything like that would happen anymore.

They have to drive their asses away from the area and find a gas station, which actually uses up a lot of time.
