I'm interested at what age did you start having more right wing ideologies and do you remember what exactly pushed you there?
For me it was with 21 (I'm 25 atm).
I've always been a contrarian and in Croatia katholic natoionalism is kind of a norm, combined with the fact that our right wing party HDZ(which ruled most of the time during last 25 years) has been corrupt to the point that one of our prime minister is serving jail while the same party still leads our nation.
HDZs voters from what I've experienced in youth are mostly people who have no idea about politics, but due to the war 25 years ago are nationalistic, so they go with the strongest right wing party.
I've have mostly despised those people and thought of every right winger as an uneducated retard, since their argument was mostly we hate non catholics, serbs and communist.
That led me to be kind of a socalist/anarchist during my teens. I had this naive ideology, we should all be equal, we should help the poor, i wanted a global goverment so we can focus on exploring space. Your typical college educated rebel naive atheist fag with 0% muscle mass.

I've voted libertarian in every presidential election since 1988, the first I was old enough to vote in. I kind of started changing my views when Reason magazine endorsed the endless wars. Also, libertarianism is prone to be abused by concentrated wealth , as in the case of the Koch brothers, truly disgusting humans. Also, there is a strong open borders position in the libtard corner. No party is mine. I am a huge Bill of Rights supporter, pro abortion (the prisons are already full), closed borders (tho not anti mexican), white identitarian insofar as the rhetoric coming from the left makes me think when the demographics allow, the left is going to crucify white men, not because of the content of their character, but because of the color of their skin. Every Charles Blow editorial pushes me farther to the right. I also truly believe that while not guiltless, Europeans and European culture, has made the world a much better place.
