I went to University for 7 years. (Don't judge, I'm old money, set for life, and decided to take as many courses of interest as possible before graduation.) There were certainly some radical feminist currents in the university. However, they were easily avoidable. I'm not saying that you can go to a university without ever seeing bluehaired feminists who hate all men, but the vast majority of people in the university were not like that. Mostly, they were people interested in specific areas of study who committed themselves to immersion in that field. With the philosophy majors, I'd discuss metaphysics and the philosophy of mind. With engineering majors, I'd discuss applications of mathematic principles. For every 30-50 conversations I'd have with people on campus, I'd have 1-2 conversations which even touched on the topic of feminism (or politics at all). Some of the feminists brought up legitimate points, most of them didn't, but I am better off having those hundreds of conversations with people deeply immersed in specific fields and the feminist BS didn't really bug me at all because I wasn't concerned with their opinions. Relax and pursue the truth; you will be happy in university. Look for fights and you will be unhappy. That's all it comes down to. It sucks that a small subsection of society is fucked in the head, but it's not your job to fix them. It's your job to improve yourself.
