The left are guilty of politicizing a normal environmental trend by suggesting that paying more tax dollars will magically change the trend. In the 70s and 80s, liberals were screaming about global cooling, saying we were on the way to another iceage. We're currently in a very deep solar minimum, similar to the one in 2006-2009. Like that solar minimum, we are seeing increased cloud nucleation due to the upward trend of cosmic rays which is increasing precipitation to the majority of the US which is seeing record breaking amounts. These records that climate alarmists use are bullshit because there is always going to be a point in time where the earth was warmer or cooler, and the climate always changes due to the giant ball of fucking plasma that controls most everything we experience on our planet. The sun experiences 400 and 200 year cycles but also many others. The last 400 year grand solar minimum was in the 1600s (Maunder Minimum), and the last 200 year was in the 1800s (Dalton Minimum). The misconception is that because we're in a solar minimum, that temperatures are supposed to decrease all around which is entirely false. The temperatures do decrease but it's due to the increase in volcanism which we are already starting to experience, and it really started last year with the large scale emptying of the Kilauea magma chamber along with the destruction once again of Krakatau which caused another tsunami killing hundreds last year. We're also seeing an uptick in seismic activity, both of these are due to the increase in cosmic rays from our weakened magnetic field. This cosmic radiation also fuels magnetic reversals which we are also in the midst of. On top of all this the sun is in a Gleissberg cycle, which simply means it's no longer in its typical trajectory around the center of mass of the solar system and it's actually moving closer to the Earth's northern hemisphere during the summer and winter in the southern hemisphere, but farther away from the NH in winter and summer in the southern hemisphere. This was predicted as far back as the 1970s but most notably by Theodor Landscheidt in 1989, predicting that the earth would again enter a grand solar minimum by the year 2030.
