Shonens in general are way better for young boys to be consuming than the subversive filth Western media puts out these days. They largely teach that you must use your willpower to grow strong enough to overcome any adversity you may face in life and are paired with instilling solid morals of using your acquired power to only uplift those whom you care about, except in rare cases where an immoral destructive individual has to be dealt with. The worst they have is some slightly sexually suggestive themes but they are nothing compared to what the West is currently trying to inculcate into children. If I had children I would be very careful of what I let them consume and Shonen anime almost always proves to be safe for consumption.
