Before even shoving stats up his ass, ask him if he believes and acknowledges basic things like Asians tending to be shorter than whites, men tending to be taller than women, Africans and Asians tending to have black hair and brown eyes while Europeans tend to have lighter hair and eyes; ask him then if seems like that our differences would truly only be skin deep and wouldn't affect our brains. If he can accept physical differences (which even hardcore SJWs seem to be able to for the most part), he at least has the potential to accept facts regarding intelligence. If he can't and immediately goes to the "Well Yao Ming is seven feet tall so..." argument then he's retarded.

I can't tell if he's still retarded or not. Yes, it's partly due to geography; basic evolution. Harsher climates (like snowy northern ones) will select for certain traits like having foresight/the ability to plan. Meanwhile having your ancestors grow up somewhere like Africa will select for other traits. These don't simply just disappear if you drop the latter into Sweden or the other way around just like a Korean couple won't have a son who ends up being 6'2" just because they gave birth to him in Amsterdam.
