With the way that the system operates it would collapse without it. The only thing you need to know is that hospitals have a budget for irresponsible niggers who don't have insurance and aren't single mothers who get medicaid. They can't punish you for using up a hospitals resources. In a worse case scenario you would just have to shill your assets, deal with the bottom feeding collectors and declare bankruptcy. A lot of the Obamacare shit is bad enough to pay the fine and take your chances.
The way that it's set up to basically give some people a blank government check for medical while making others go private makes the whole thing super super inefficient. More than half the fucking people at the hospital just get any funding they need from the state and a few (mostly mexicans) just show up then fuck off when the bill comes. This is why they can charge 16 dollars for aspirin. And it leaves the few people who try to be responsible and actually pay holding the bag.
