Quite the opposite. Monogamy is the answer, it's just that nobody wants to enforce it anymore. One man for every woman, one man for every woman, etc. With polygamy, not only do you have a shitty way to raise kids, but only the top percentage of guys have sex with the women (the number is about 20%, according to the Pareto Distribution). That leads to 80% of your male population not having a healthy relationship and a lot of negative feelings, which leads to bad shit, including sexual degeneracy.

I have never believed that a Man should only have one woman until he dies. I think it is denying nature by getting married at a young age and expected to stay married for 50 years to the same woman. Men are designed to breed with conquered women, spread their seed worldwide. Why do you think that women go through menopause around 40-50, but Men can Father children when he is 90 years old? It's normal for men to want to sleep with multiple women. In fact I kind of look down on men who disagree with this as "betas." But it's difficult to maintain from a sociological perspective. You'd have to tweak the eugenics program to encourage more females, and maybe import/sterilize foreign women.

Historic ratios found in our genome are 1.1 -> 1.4:1 but it's always somewhere near parity. Or put another way, a few high quality guys had a couple of wives, but most not.
This would unironically be a good way to improve the lives of lower quality women who would otherwise be stuck with male trash.
