Bong here who interacts only with white people. I find the idea that different races have different average iqs to be a pretty easy idea to believe. I was wondering for those who live in diverse multiracial environments, do you notice the IQ differences between races in real life with your general interactions between people. Is the difference that pronounced. I have a friend who moved to Miami and he said he felt like a genius while living there.

You only notice this between very different ethnic groups, like niggers versus whites, but it very hard to notice otherwise.

It's hard for humans to see statistical differences across large groups of people because we have too many biases. While the IQ research is clear about average IQ, there's also deviation from the mean, so you're going to interact with a whole bunch of non-whites who seem perfectly average IQ (white average) but you're more likely to remember the hits (the stupid ones) due to confirmation bias.

Plus typically people do not know enough other people well enough to gauge IQ across large numbers, as well as the fact that people tend to segregate both in terms of where you live (high IQ = money = good neighbourhood) and also the same goes for jobs (high IQ = skills = rich corporation)

Luckily my area is mostly white, and so are most areas outside of London.

Too high IQ is not that good either. I'm asian and my race has the highest avg. iq so I'd know. It just makes you the best at detecting patterns but not so good at everything else in general. It just makes you into an intellectual labourer capable of repetitive tasks like pharmacy and engineering and nothing else. So essiantially, it turns you into a living robot. I think whites have it best because their avg. iq is somewhere in the middle in the upper-end of the spectrum so they can have good iq without sacrificing qualities like creativity and emotional expression, essantially your "soul". So for any whites out there wanting their iq to be increased; don't, you don't know what you'll be missing, because the trade-offs are not worth it.

There have been many teachers in elementary school and above in my family. The longer they've taught, the more they came to the same conclusion independently:

To put it into perspective, we all live in a city of 30,000 in southeast Texas. Far enough away from the border that its not Amexica, but close enough to feel it. Our town is still majority white by a lot, but the surrounding areas are more colored. I can only imagine how much worse inner city schools must be.

Its not, its EXTREMELY hard in some cases. Think of manual labor jobs, most of them are easy enough to learn, may take time too. But IQ comes into play when you face increase complexity, and novel problems. Meaning that a dumber person cannot juggle too many different algorithms, events or happenstances at the same time. Even if they are regular.

Secondly, novel situations are situations that are unforseen of sorts, that interrupt the flow of your standard operations, you need to have the ability to visualize, and comprehend different concepts, maths and engineering principles and comprehend how it will affect them.

Thirdly, there is a test that is relatively reliable, actually quite reliable, though not entirely in the real world to see who is smart, the marshmallow test. Being able to resist your own beastly instincts, be they food, pain, tiredness etc. are great marks of IQ usually.

But generally speaking, when you first start learning, or working, usually it wont be apparent, but after a couple of thousand hours, if the work demands a little bit of intellect in the upper ranges, you will notice competence there.

Kind of. It's actually sometimes hard to tell if you're in an environment where there's some kind of selection threshold, because then most people will be somewhat close to that threshold.

For example in an academic research lab, you might have 30 white people, 20 asian people, and 2 black people. The typical ability levels might be pretty similar, or even identical, but the total number of people is very different. But then if they implemented a strict racial quota you'd see a clear difference in the means.

Every black person in my German classes (two of them) has been incapable of piecing together a few sentences without using English for very basic words when speaking.

I've known plenty of Asians throughout my life that weren't very bright. Just the same, I've known many black people I doubt you could hold a candle to. It's very severe. I work in a "multicultural and diverse" enviorement with kids. I think kids are the best sample to measure because adults always reach a point where they can willingly throw their intellect away but the kids are raw material.

African kids are just the hardest to teach. It's like talking to a bird and I'm not trying to exagerate to be edgy. You try to teach them extremely simple things and they brush it off like "Haha you talk so weird". And I'm talking about why wheels can't be square and things like that.

Arabs are meh. They memorize a lot of stuff without really understanding it and they're absolutely egocentric. They're not stupid but they don't understand abstact concepts the same way we do.

Spanish kids are difficult, mostly because their lack of manners and focus, but I'd say that russian, polish and chinese are by far the ones that learn the quickest and it's so much easier to reason with them.

Cause no one actually cares this much about race. People will be attracted to people of Similar personalities/IQ and looks multicultural cities get rid of the latter and people start grouping by IQ. So if your grew up in a city you'll usually have a bunch of acquaintances that are different races. I have worked in majority nigger workplaces before and have gone to public schools across the country. It has always confounded me how others seem so oblivious to racial differences which are so pronounced. I think it comes down to pattern recognition but there is obviously some other psychological mechanism preventing people from seeing what is plain in front of them. These people are rude, petty, volatile, unread, and do not know the meaning of respect or reciprocity. In the last job I had, for example, I went to a 2 week training course. About 50% of the class was Black, 40% Hispanic, and 10% of mostly crypto Jews or mischling. We had to get A's on every quiz administered every day. After the first couple, the teacher rearranged seats so that the failing students could get help from the passing ones. Literally a perfect checkerboard (whites/light browns vs. niggers). That class was hell. The accumulative mental energy of the class was of grade school and these were adults many of them parents.
