Yeah, it's a shitty condition.
You're smart but a medical-grade asshole.
Depending on profession you could even be an industrial-strength douche.
However I've found that climbing the ladder has been easy for me despite being an aspie. For some reason people understood I couldn't into implicit communication very well and taught me how to do it.
Then I read "how to win friends and influence people" or whatever.
And what did the trick for me lastly was being drugged with acid. It was a fun experience but I never wanted nor asked for it. But at the end I came out emotionally intelligent enough to understand the NPC.
It gets better man. Just understand that it'll take a lot of time just like any other challenge in life.
Just learn how to adapt socially and understand you're ahead of the curve in a lot of ways. You'll be fine.
