The date was surely chosen to be auspicious but focusing on this kind of stuff can make you sound like a tinfoilder and put off NPCs from discovering the truth.
The key point is it was false flag event, planned decades in advance by the Israelis, to generate sympathy for Israel and drag the US and Western nations into the "War on Terror". A war to eliminate Israel's regional enemies and establish Israeli hegemony in the Middle East.

If you haven't read The Grand Chessboard by Zbigniew Brzezinski, it's insightful because it lays out the need for the US to maintain control of Central Asia in order to maintain itself as a unipolar superpower in a post-USSR world for such allegedly noble purposes of stability, peace, and human dignity. But the great question is how to stir up more appetite for the necessary military expansionism.
Then, when you read the PNAC founding documents, you realize how the neocons answered that question with 9/11. Reading those two things was enough to tell me what had happened, even if I didn't have all the details that proper researchers have put together.

Good question. The BBC reported it had collapsed before the event so it was part of the plan. The motive for WTC7 is a bit less clear as it wasn't a spectable and there was soon a media blackout on it.
The building was owned by Larry Silverstein who also owned the twin towers. The motive is a unclear but it could be simple monetary gain. Lucky Larry made billions. The CIA had offices in WTC7 so if they were in on it, they may have been destroying the evidence.
The official 9-11 Commision report does not even mention the collapse of WTC7.
