State pride, ideology, racial pride have all acted in such a way to fulfil this role at some point in history however these all depend upon the material and will always at some point fade, the state will degenerate in some form and patriotism will not still be enough to sate mans hunger, ideology will die at some point or in some key way, racial or ethnic pride will at some point fade coinciding with the threat of ethnic extinction which arose the racial identity out of necessity just the same as with the ideology or patriotic uprisings exists as a reaction. All three situations are of the material and so exists as that of a reactionary nature bound to the temporary. As these said reactions cease in cause or were never aroused by cause man shall turn against man and it shall be the animalistic state of the ego and his own.
