KJV is actually not really good i would say. For once it conflates Israelites, descendents of Judah, people living in Judeah as well as prople of the faith of Judaism (which didnt exist back then even) under the term jew enabling a very jewcentric interpretation of the bible when its mentions the descendents of Judah rather rarely and while modern jews are merely edomitic converts LARPing as Judahites.

Additionally it is based on the Masoretic text which itself has a few issues. One being the removal of 100 years of the age from each of Shems descendents up to Abraham in an effort to enable pilpul about Jesus not being High Priest. You see the age correct still in the greek septuagint
