Honestly what would happen if China declared war on America tomorrow? Surely the experts have already planned for this scenario? I believe a war with China could be coming.

I support a war between the US and China, preferably to the absolute devastation of both. Not NATO involvement or anyone helping the US, besides maybe Israel and Saudi Arabia.

They'd get obliterated. They've spent 30 years trying to control their coastline and they can't even get past the first island chain. Their flagship carrier used to be a floating casino. The only problem is the US doesn't have a way to end that war short of a nuclear exchange (you can't invade a country where you'd be outnumbered that badly). Most likely we'd just blockade all their exports/imports and watch their country fall apart from lack of markets/food imports/oil/etc.

The strategy is sound, but at this juncture it would be a huge blunder to do something so outright. You'd need a careful gambit to get that to happen on its own or by the hands of other players.

The population of north korea is ~25 million. Even if every single one of them fled to China, it would still amount to less than 2% of the population, and China wouldn't have any qualms about turning them away at gunpoint if it came to that.

It would place quite a bit of pressure on China, and the logistics of responding to it would force them to have to rejigger their strategies in other theaters.
