You can communicate with them. I've seen several different Grey's. The last one I saw was appeared next to my bed. Ugly as fuck. The eyes were completely void of color. It was terrible to look at. It looked like a 3 foot tall baby/pig hybrid but with the typical "Grey" head but it was more pinkish. It looked a little greasy I yelled at it to get the fuck away and it left.
I am not sure if it was benevolent though as the more friendly Grey's are the smaller ones
