We could argue he is anti globalism/communism as the evil guys, the patriots/lalilulelo, tried make the bosses will happen which was to „unite the world“. While this does sound noble non of the patriots could actually agree on what this means nor how to do that. So what happened is big boss and a couple seperated from the patriots and did their own thing. Big Boss basically created a military nation that tried to unite the world through deterrence, making the world so scared of them that noone would want to fight out of fear that they get involved.
The patriots that remained created a system of economical and informative control which eventually got replaced by a couple AIs resulting in the plan/system being held alive long after the patriots were gone, much like our system is selfsustaining long after those that created it died off, just that its not really an AI doing it but the blackmail and ritual practices of the pedoelite and the powercentrals they own that makes it selfsustaining. The eventual outcome of this route is seen in the beginning, and pretty much all of, MGS 4 where the system creates endless wars in an effort to keep everything under control much like it is happening now.
