Everybody you just mentioned successfully invaded Afghanistan. If you are talking about conquering the country, that assumes that such a thing is even possible without the locals being in agreement.
Failure to conquer Afghanistan is probably because invaders have plenty to lose, and outside influences acting on their ability to wage perpetual war.
Afghans have lived in and defended their nation for centuries, and have no other option than to fight.
I am not sure what you are referring to with the Aussie special forces failing, I am not aware that they ever failed in their missions. They are a small and deadly force, and are very effective in the warzones they fight in. There are not enough of them to conquer a large country like Afghanistan.
None of these "failed". Nations these days arent annexed in the way they were back in the old days. Afghanistans government is a puppet government to whoever has the most influence in the region. The nation has literally no sovereignty whatsoever and is at the mercy of the wills of these factions you listed.

Missions always go wrong eventually, I think if you examine how many combatants SAS forces killed compared to their losses, you will see they were very effective.
Their other major engagement is usually in training local forces to fight.

Afghanistan is a cluster fuck tribal hell hole that is only good in so much that it's a great place to fucking hide shit. It's a mix of hot mountainous jungle and desert during the day with cold nights for no god damn reason. The people, structures, and resources aren't worth fuck all, it's just geographically in an interesting position.

Trying to form a stable government after the fall of the monarchy in the 70s has failed thanks to tribal divisions, and everyone in Afghanistan hates the occupying powers for different reasons so there's always going to be some sort of insurgency

If you mean objectively "decimate and destroy the native fighting population" then no, no one did that, because no one had that as a goal. it'd be similar to kicking over a sandcastle for a world power like America - the goal is domination of the resources not the irrelevant native cockroaches

You can win any war by killing absolutely everyone, that has nothing to do with reality.
