Howcome no power in this world can invade Afghanistan?
Soviets tried and failed Taliban tried and failed Pakistan tried and failed Americans tried and failed Special forces of Australia tried and failed ISIS tried and failed RAW tried and failed NATO tried and failed
Everybody you just mentioned successfully invaded Afghanistan. If you are talking about conquering the country, that assumes that such a thing is even possible without the locals being in agreement.
Failure to conquer Afghanistan is probably because invaders have plenty to lose, and outside influences acting on their ability to wage perpetual war.
Afghans have lived in and defended their nation for centuries, and have no other option than to fight.
I am not sure what you are referring to with the Aussie special forces failing, I am not aware that they ever failed in their missions. They are a small and deadly force, and are very effective in the warzones they fight in. There are not enough of them to conquer a large country like Afghanistan.
Gabriel Jackson
None of these "failed". Nations these days arent annexed in the way they were back in the old days. Afghanistans government is a puppet government to whoever has the most influence in the region. The nation has literally no sovereignty whatsoever and is at the mercy of the wills of these factions you listed.
Brayden Brown
The Taliban destroyed Australian special forces' Boeing CH-47 Chinook and gave their special forces had a tough time escaping the war zone in their interview and gave up on their mission.
Afghanistan and the area to the south of it is nicknamed the graveyard of empires for a reason.
Ian Thompson
they were invaded many times. The only resistancence those goatfuckers could put up was a small rare partisan war. There are nothing to conquer, these fucking sandniigers don't have anything except themselves and ugly huts made from dirt.
Ryder Perez
They have poppy fields.
William Anderson
mountains. same as iran.
Cameron Parker
There is nothing of worth in Afghanistan, so it is not worth holding, and it is about as decentralized at countries can be. Honestly, it doesn't even deserve to be called a country given how utterly tribal the region is.
Caleb Reyes
Missions always go wrong eventually, I think if you examine how many combatants SAS forces killed compared to their losses, you will see they were very effective.
Their other major engagement is usually in training local forces to fight.
Taliban numbers almost doubled, so the enitre effort was a collective failure.
Carson Roberts
If those invading armies would have been allowed to kill everyone, Afghanistan would be a decent place to go on vacation, supposing the place was re-vegetated and demined.
Leo Miller
Why should they ever be allowed to kill everyone?
Carson Scott
The afghans are invaded and occupied more often then not. There is nothing there of value to keep conquerers around.
Nicholas Moore
Because Afghans are dark triad low-inhib GIGAchad slayers.
They don't give a fuck about NATO, mutts, Jews, Chinks or anyone
Afghanistan is a cluster fuck tribal hell hole that is only good in so much that it's a great place to fucking hide shit. It's a mix of hot mountainous jungle and desert during the day with cold nights for no god damn reason. The people, structures, and resources aren't worth fuck all, it's just geographically in an interesting position.
Joshua Rivera
>Taliban tried and failed They control nearly half the country at the moment and are posied to take more the minute we leave (and really at this point I don't care, al-Qaeda is mostly gone and Afghanistan is fucked no matter how much we try to put it together) In any case China's about to have their go at Afghanistan once we leave, they're scared to death that Afghan instability could spill over into their Uighur regions stripes.com/news/middle-east/chinese-troops-sit-on-afghanistan-s-doorstep-1.569222

Basically the only way to "win" Trying to form a stable government after the fall of the monarchy in the 70s has failed thanks to tribal divisions, and everyone in Afghanistan hates the occupying powers for different reasons so there's always going to be some sort of insurgency It's basically one big no-win situation
Julian Walker
What are you talking about. Americans still occupy and own afghanistan. If you mean objectively "decimate and destroy the native fighting population" then no, no one did that, because no one had that as a goal. it'd be similar to kicking over a sandcastle for a world power like America - the goal is domination of the resources not the irrelevant native cockroaches
Gabriel Rogers
>al-Qaeda is mostly gone Al-Qaeda isn't really one group, the only one that gained traction was what later became AQI which became ISI which became ISIL which became ISIS. As for China trying to do anything, well, good luck.
Brody Edwards
because that's the opium honeypot you reject. The CIA cut deals with the drug lords a long time ago now they launder opium through turkey and china to sell in the us market. Why invade it when you can get the locals to do your bidding.
It's never about who owns a resource: it's about who controls the resource.
Mason White
Shitty landlocked mountainous terrain make reliable supply lines impossible and easy for the goat herders to do guerilla warfare in. Even if you win, who wants to control Afghanistan, a circle of sparsely populated dirt with no resources?
Leo Evans
You can win any war by killing absolutely everyone, that has nothing to do with reality.
Ethan Rodriguez
There's just nothing to conquer you can only ever just occupy Afghanistan and fuck with the locals.
Grayson Gonzalez
everyone failed because they tried to make it into a puppet state instead of just steamrolling the entire population
