I don't get how that crap can be considered a summons when no specific court has ordered you to appear before it but then again I'm not an expert on US law.

Jury nullification all the way; if it's warranted. You might amp yourself up for j.n. and then the case is pretty incontrovertible, defendant is clearly guilty and there's no "tyranny of the state" issue.
