Which means that either the 6 gorrilion vanished, or are burried somewhere. But the mass graves they have found have corpses in the hundreds, or in rare cases a few thousands. Not in hundreds of thousands, as it would have to be for the math to add up.

So in reality for the story to make sense you would need to account for 11 million dead.
