They are scared Muslims will kill them. No one has ever been murdered for drawing a picture of Jesus. If you want a serious answer to this question then watch the South Park episodes 200 & 201. They cover this exact topic. Make sure to watch the uncensored version. Comedy Central had to censor it not to piss off Muslims. That is the blunt answer though. Muslim extremists have made it quite clear that they are willing to hurt people who disrespect Islam. So most people are too scared to do it. Jews are just as bad in a different way. They will sue your balls off if you make fun of Jews. Christians are the only group who can actually take a fucking joke. They are also mature enough to realize that even if you do not agree with what someone has said (or find it offensive) free speech is more important. So if you want people to stop mocking Christianity then you need to either start killing people or start suing them. Otherwise, just accept the reality.
A lot of people are assholes, but that is their problem not yours. I am an Athiest, but, I don't think it is right to mock people for their beliefs. Watch the South Park episodes. They are pretty funny.

Atheist and hardcore anti-theist here. We DO attack Islam with the same vitriol when the situation occurs. But since America is mostly a Christian country and Muslims are actually a pretty small slice of the population, we come into contact with far more Christians than Muslims. I will argue with anyone, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Mormons and Scientologists, I don't care. But since America is majority Christian, I mostly argue with Christians. No hidden agenda, just population statistics in action.

It exists but it's less common for 2 reasons. Firstly there are more atheists in Europe and north America where Christianity is the major religion so criticism of Islam is less topical. Secondly people who criticize Islam tend to end up dead so fewer people are willing to pursue something that could get then killed.
