Trump has just about completed the job of closing the Fed down if you hadn't noticed. Trump is using international trade and tariffs to manage the economy right now, and the Fed is out of power and options. Watch them reduce the Fed rate back to zero over the next year. We are good for another 5.5 years of Trump controlling the economy, the trans-nationals getting screwed over, and companies having to open up shop in the US to sell things here.
Here is the prediction that confirms... China will settle, and Trump will start imposing a new round tariffs on Mexico, and ramp up tariffs on India, and Europe will probably be hit again. If for some reason the economy slows down, Trump can ease up of tariffs a bit.
