Unbelievable that ‘paying reparations’ is officially part of the Democratic agenda for 2020. Where do we even begin? First- that’s racist. Second- who pays who? But according to Jow Forums- one group in particular is especially to blame for the slave trade in America and getting money out of the group in question is unlikely at best.
Oddly enough- this was the issue that made me start to believe that the Democrats have already given up and that they do expect Trump to win reelection in 2020. Biden fueled my suspicions in the beginning but it wasn't until I saw the issue of reparations being raised in the mainstream media that I really started to believe it. Instead of shifting their platform a bit right and trying to capture voters with a strong candidate and realistic issues- they are pushing left instead- doubling down and pushing these fringe issues because they already know they can't win the presidency.
Elections are an expensive business. Who wants to give money to a campaign for a candidate who is very unlikely to win? Everyone knows about the cheating and the corruption in the DNC and all their awful secrets are out in the open now. The smart thing for them to do is to try to play it safe and save their money for 2024.
Overconfidence and complacency will certainly lead to disaster- but it might be helpful to bear in mind that if your opponent is not playing to win then you have to use different tactics to beat him.
