Merkel party politician slain; German police say no suspects

BERLIN (AP) - A politician from Chancellor Angela Merkel's party was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head outside his home in Hesse state, German authorities confirmed Monday, saying they haven't identified suspects or a possible motive.

Walter Luebcke, who was in charge of the Kassel area regional administration, was found outside his home early Sunday morning by a relative and attempts to reanimate him were unsuccessful, said Hesse prosecutor Horst Streiff.

An autopsy confirmed that the 65-year-old died from a pistol shot to the head, fired at close range, Streiff said.

There just seems to be something fishy about the silence of the mainstream media on this matter. It's not even on the front pages of german newspapers.

It would make sense that they'd stir up the same kind of shitstorm as when Jo Cox got murdered. They have a pro refugee politician murdered, in fucking Germany. And they're all quiet about it.

There's something more to this story they're not telling us. At first glance it looks like the perfect story they can push for increased gun control, more immigration, putting anti immigration activists in a bad light, and pro-europeanism. Yet they don't.
