I know, I get that all the time whenever I'm visiting. It put it into perspective for me quite a bit, because the town I come from is also somewhere that everyone hates, but from an outside perspective it's pretty cool. We have a 1600 year old castle that I can walk to in 5 mins of my house. I live in a little village with pokey houses and nice green fields, but it's so shit when you live here.
I love Ohio because something about being there brings me a true inner tranquility. I'm not too fussed on the city centers very much (anywhere), but there's just an atmosphere and an aesthetic that I find extremely comfy. I only visited there originally because I had the opportunity given to me by a very nice girl that I met on fucking WoW of all places, and I figured why not. Didn't think much of it, but now we're engaged. I know that it's weird and unusual, but it works. Lucky for me, I feel at home there.
I just love the country country. I even keep an American flag. (I'm 100% white btw so no worries of me making any nog babies there).

i would suggest visiting a normal catholic church and a latin mass church. i prefer the latin mass, but youll probably prefer a "novus ordo" church because its a little more similar to what youre probably used to. just dont take the eucharist until youre converted its a sin. i made that mistake before i converted.
our lady of lourdes is a good latin church, priests are based and redpilled. st francis xavier is cool, the covington cathedral is absolutely stunning as well. the bishop likes to preach there so youy may see him

Anyway, I visited London in 1999 and did a day trip to Rochester. Such cool place! The castle there was built in 604 AD if I remember correctly. The cathedral was beautiful, there was a choir practicing at the time I visited. Went to a pub and there was a local man there wearing a Cincinnati Bengals jacket. wtf? It's very nice to hear of a Burger that has seen more of this country than London. Rochester isn't even that far away from London, but getting outside of that city makes all the difference. Although I am guessing London was in a much better state in '99. I've actually seen more of the USA than Britain desu. I am from the Norf, and we don't venture south, ever pretty much.
