I came up with this thread as I was wondering about what a war over automation would look like, and TL;DR the pro-robot guys would be in New England (outside Boston), Midwest (except major cities like Chicago or Columbus), Rockies and Pacific Northwest as well as NorCal. The anti-auto guys would be in the Sun Belt (South, Southwest, Bay Area, SoCal) and the most urban parts of the Northeastern megalopolis.
