Despite this shit thread I have to agree, tinnitus is shit. Never heals, ever. Just ask Jow Forums. Sage for raid.
Colton Cruz
>tinnitus
just sleep with the window open lmao
Austin Gutierrez
You get used to it, and a simple fan can help with sleep.
As someone with it fairly bad (2 .45ACPs indoors) and Schizophrenia, it's literally a baby injury compared to the latter.
Adam Robinson
well, if you cave that easily on something like this your chances of living a long life were pretty dim
Lucas Nguyen
In my own office I play music on a bluetooth speaker. My 3 employees get to pick the songs and generally we all have the same taste.
Fucking glorious if you ask me. Can't imagine doing it any other way
Caleb Hughes
When I was a teenager I use to listen to metal as loud as my Walkman possibly could go every single day for 4 hours a day. I have a little bit of hearing loss but it's mostly come back over ten years.
Hunter Barnes
How does that even happen with headphones? Went crazy with the amp?
Nathan Davis
who told you to say this
Isaiah Taylor
Lucio warned him, but he didn't listen.
Ryder Morgan
Back when I played CS as a teen I could hear so well I'd shoot enemies through walls as I heard them coming. The old fucks couldn't hear it and neither can I anymore. They just thought I was hacking.
Alexander Perez
I'm medicated, so no one.
Though, the hallucinations aren't actually that bad. It's all the "negative" symptoms that medication don't really help that makes it so disabling.
The ringing is just another noise in the end.
Nolan Watson
Tinnitus is TERRIBLE, for your entire existence, in every instant in which you are conscious, you hear a loud high pitched sound that never ever stops. That's in the worst cases, of course. I suffered loud tinnitus for a couple of months and i was desperate, but fortunately it became mild once i got a dental guard, as apparently nocturnal bruxism was (and is, i guess) causing the tinnitus
I haven't had a minute of silence for more tgan a year now. But i can live with it
Ian Sanchez
i had tinnitus, not anymore though
Benjamin Davis
What was the cause/what healed it?
Christopher Fisher
I've had tinnitus since I was like 9, get on my level
Charles Lopez
>Tinnitus is usually quiet and I can ignore it most of the time
>Read this thread
>All of a sudden stupidly loud
Christian Collins
I think I have it mildly. It's really fucking loud when it is quiet or when I'm trying to sleep but I usually have a fan or something on during the day so I don't hear anything.
Kevin Phillips
Can't you just meditate and use your tinnitus as a focus point? This way you can probably stay in a meditative state indefinitely.
Jacob Cooper
Life never heals. I have tinnitus and still listen to loud music and shoot every weekend while working with power tools. I protect my hearing now because I like to hear but I don't spend my time crying over spilt milk like a little faggot.
Nathan Russell
I've had it since I was a kid. It's not terrible (4/10 maybe) but mine isn't a high pitch ring. Most of the time, it's a washing/static noise. I'll only get high pitched rings randomly maybe once a day, out of no where. All of a sudden it's like someone shot a 12g beside my head, and then 5 minutes later it's back to the static.
I'm usually able to drown it out and don't notice it unless I consciously try to.
Luis Flores
Lmao, I had tinnitus, the shit is annoying as fuck. I’m too the point where I ignore it now.
Leo Reed
Boomer here, how does this shit even work? No way can headphones be that loud AND they have a volume control. It's not like he spent every weekend at a metal concert, and if you do that you wear earplugs. The only one I met that thought you were a pussy for wearing earplugs was this one roastie, she's probably deaf now.
Gavin Miller
most people listen to music on their headsets over the acceptable limit
there is also a genetic factor and body shape, etc
James Rodriguez
Actually works.
Brody James
my eyes
Jayden Perry
>I'll only get high pitched rings randomly maybe once a day, out of no where
Interesting to know I'm not the only one. I get this too, but mine usually only last for about 10 seconds until it returns to normal
Lucas Sanders
It's less of a singular, very loud instance, and more of a constant, lower amplitude.
Think angle grinder against steel for 5 minutes, vs a hammer against an anvil for 5 hours.
Josiah King
Does this "tinnitus cure" work?
youtube.com
How about some you guys trying and reporting in....
Henry Ramirez
There are many different things all covered by tinnitus. I've got high pitch ringing and sensitivity to volume, but the worst part is the vibration. My ear drum feels like it has rapid spasms. I'm a musician, so it really sucks. Still wouldn't kill myself.
Cooper Bell
static in silence is perfectly normal, it's just your brain filling in the silence
the sudden spikes are probably your blood pressure dropping/being low then suddenly going up
I suppose you sit a lot at the computer right?
John Morris
Don't know, I had it forever, in fact, I don't even remember when it stopped.
Hunter Anderson
Also when it happens I'm compelled to plug that ear until it returns to normal
Michael Bennett
Sometimes my peaks are short - usually if I have an ear bud in or something, and it'll sound like it broke but when I take it out the ringing is still there.
Henry Kelly
yeah, I use an air purifier or fan
Jose Cooper
Lets say you have tinnitus in your right ear could you through surgery become forced deaf to stop it?
Julian Ortiz
What the hell? How does one avoid getting this? Don't listen to loud music?
Angel Gomez
Nah this isn't the background static / white noise / bloodflow kind of noise. Static may not have been the best word for it.
Zachary Reed
no, it could be many things including nerve damage
Jacob Roberts
Temporary fix. It lasted just a few seconds for me
Robert Johnson
I wore ear pro but I’d still have blood on the ear plugs when I took them out. Shit happens.
Joseph Walker
Weird, I have tinnitus and also recently have been having an easier time with the fan on. I had just attributed it to cooling me down.
Joseph Brown
Have done it. It helps. Honestly though, you just don't think about it most of the time unless there is something worse going on in your life. It's hard to explain but basically tinnitus is worse when you are alone and depressed, drinking makes it worse. When your brain is active it forgets, when it is spinning its wheels is when you suffer.
Jackson Ross
how loud do you have to listen to get tinnitus? that guy had max volume on headphones and pc then
Isaiah Collins
Anything over 85db(?) for extended periods can be harmful.
Use hearing protection when working with power tools, shooting, or at concerts.
Gabriel Murphy
>LOL LET ME LISTEN TO THIS MUSIC LOUD ENOUGH TO BLOW MY EAR DRUMS
We need decibel control now!
Caleb King
Live innawoods and wear ear pro around loud things, and wear plugs and muffs if you’re going to be around loud stuff a lot.
Lucas Cook
The gene pool dodged a turd.
Samuel Baker
I read somewhere that it worked in some cases. But some people were left deaf and with tinnitus.
Austin Edwards
Are you me? Now I'm bad as an oldfag with CSGO :(
Robert Martin
how in the fuck do you get tinnitus from headphones? i seriously have my shit up high most of the time and i never had a problem. has he turned that shti up so loud that it fucking distorts the sound and hurts his ears the fuck
Luis Morales
People also commit suicide after getting lasik surgery.
So don't do either of these things.
Brayden Lopez
Have tinnitus everyday. What a selfish cunt. Must of been so bored with life all he heard was the ringing.
Colton Flores
Tinnitus is often damage at the auditory nerve, I don't think even surgery would help. Removing the eardrum would just make the auditory stimulus go away, the tinnitus would remain. I bet even if the auditory nerve were removed the it would not stop the tinnitus, it may even make it worse.
James Parker
I've been thinking about Lasik, what's so bad about it?
Nolan Thomas
tinnitus doesn't come from the ear, it comes from the brain itself
Gabriel Perry
>killed himself durr to tinnitus caused by wearing headphones 24/7
Nothing of value was lost
Luis White
I stopped using headphones just in case. Moreover, some retarded pieces of shit like to put unexpected earrape sounds in otherwise funny videos.
Daniel Morales
It's not even real unless you had something extremely loud wreck your ears. It's just focusing on normal ear ringing because you have no life, like a programmer nerd.
Parker Russell
how is tinnitus real? lmao just turn the volume down nigga
Owen Carter
This is not true. I had it when i left the army but when i stopped eating carbs it resolved.
Kayden Harris
Tinnitus aint shit.
Easton Scott
It is a chronic issue that's frequently genetic. Protecting against loud noises especially for long periods of time will help. I know I got mine from practicing for hours a day everyday for years. The daily damage is happening faster than your body can fix. I have an idea I want to try if I ever get the money: pressurized oxygen chamber treatment. It forces more oxygen into your system, affecting the places where there is less blood flow. I have heard it being used to treat macular degeneration for the same reason.
David Gomez
very loud. but low continued exposure does it too.
just enjoy silence now and then, it's how your ears bounce back.
John Powell
That's MKULTRA
they probably broadcast subliminal messages through them.
Jacob Mitchell
I have a crushed lower spine from a car accident at 12. I can only begin to imagine his pain.
William Howard
my headphones are broken and ive been enjoy silence for quite some time already
Jordan Campbell
I had multi frequency tinnitus from 20-22 after what was believed to be an (((epstien))) bar virus infection. It started to disapate at 23 and was gone by 25. I'm fking blessed.
Charles Campbell
Fuck. This thread started making me think i have tinnitus
Thomas Hughes
just close your ears nigga
Alexander Bell
Ha you have shit headphones
Owen Martin
I'll have to try that. I know it helped with my injured wrist. But that was before I had tinnitus.
Anthony Parker
it varies from person to person but personally I've only had some when listening to jewtube's shit sound quality for hours
Elijah Nguyen
former musician here. have sex.
Mason Lee
I have dt990s so not shit
Josiah Roberts
I've had it my entire life and I've never really given a shit about it.
Jayden Bell
Ear protection. Avoided ling term exposure to medium loud constant noise. Don't get hit in the head. Be kind to your nervous system in general. Don't get awful infections that can cause labriththitus.
Carson Cook
I have this eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sound as well when it's really quiet but once I concentrate on it I start hearing my own heartbeat and then start contemplating of how much shit the heart of animals does and that it could be totally understandable if it were to just stop and then I could fucking die.
Elijah Jones
Tinnitus fucking sucks. Have from work. Awful can't do shit to prevent it workplace is so loud double hearing protection doesn't stop the damage.
Just listen to YouTube and music constantly now when I'm in bed fall asleep with that shit on low volume to drown it out.
Sucks. But I ain't a fucking pussy ass bitch that's going to an hero because of it. Fucking faggots have no spine.
Leo Sullivan
you can do this still by using a limiter or compressor on the analog out from the sound then turn everything way the fuck up
the footsteps wav file then will be about as loud as the loudest thing
Oliver Campbell
>former
So you gave up on your dreams, huh?
Yikes.
Dylan Richardson
you are now reading about breathing manually
you cannot breathe without thinking about breathing
breathe with me
Eli Fisher
This. Guarantee this guy was afraid of talking to girls too.
Isaac Young
not sure if your shit is fucked up the same way as mine, but sitar is where it's at man...right frequency or something, it all stops ringing.
Plus you can imagine dropping a hot steamy shit in the middle of the street...
Elijah Sullivan
Jaxon Edwards
dreams may change as you get older
Ayden Johnson
I have loud eeeee(sounds like high pitched wave) noises everynow and then but its out of no where and it just goes away it doesnt hurt or really annoying at all.
Samuel Thompson
>getting tinnitus
If you get this shit you deserve it. How the fuck are you constantly exposing yourself to over 85db for 8+ hours on end?
Jason Turner
only the strong will survive for the wars to come.
Grayson White
lmao what kind of pussy faggot gives himself tinnitus with shitty airpods or beats and not with a gun like an actual man.
Aaron Smith
Tinnitus ain't shit, I have had it since I was born.
Fuck this weak nigga
Thomas Robinson

Ryder Brooks

you learn to manage it
>shoot every weekend while working with power tools
that doesn't sound very safe desu
Ryder Russell
it aint shit you faggot bitch
Connor Morales
All real men have tinnitus on some level. One less weak little bitch on the planet.
Luis Taylor
>The reason this trick works... It has to do with the method that your brain and your ears use to communicate sound. One of the main causes of tinnitus is that your ears are trying to hear a frequency that is missing. Due to: old age, or damage to your hearing ... So you brain turns up the volume trying to hear this frequency.
>This is similar to the issue that happens when turning up the sound for a mic and getting feedback because the mic is feeding the sound to the speakers which feed the sound to the mic which causes the squealing. When we cover our ears and do the thumping, our fingers are striking the bone connected our ears. This thumping basically directs the sound directly into bones, where I brain can hear it clearly. Because it is loud and clear, our brain turns down the volume. With the volume turned down, the feedback lessens or sometimes disappears.
>An example of our brain turning down the volume is when we go to a loud concert. After the loud music has stopped, everything is quiet and hard to hear. We have to wait for our brain to realize that the loudness is gone, where it returns the volume to normal. That is why ear specialists recommend hearing aids for those who suffer from tinnitus. This is because the volume is louder, so the brain reduces its volume, that either eliminates or reduces the tinnitus...
tl;dr this faggot kid could have bought a hearing aid piece and got rid of his tinnitus
Jonathan Jenkins
i was and sometimes still am a dumb ass, i used to thin i could impress people by welding without eye protection, now at age 30 i am almost blind. i cant even shoot guns anymore without coke bottle glasses
