I have been boycotting the Coca-Cola company ever since they ran that Ramadan commercial in Norway. I haven't drank coke products since, at restuarants I have been getting lemonades and have been buying things like RC Cola instead.

Your taste buds are just desensitized to it. I quit soda on a diet a a year ago, and when I hit my goal weight I tried drinking it again, and I couldn't. To this day, I can't drink soda of any kind because it tastes like fucking garbage to me.
I can't promise anything, but if you're anything like me, drop it for one month, and you will lose all desire to drink it.

Avoid as much of "Made in China" as you can. It is not 100% doable because there are things that only come from China, but I would instead buy USA, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Europe, or some 3rd-world country like France or California.
