If there are growing numbers of men who are incels, but women are having the same amount of sex if not more, the problem lies with them, at least in part. I have a predisposition against psychiatry as a science, so all I can do is offer an opinion as to why you shouldn't but more often than not the doctors prey on weaknesses in a person's character. It's basically just legalized manipulation tricks to coax a certain result from the patient, so IF you go I would tape the sessions for later reflection. Just for your peace of mind at the very least.

Probably if you're receptive, side-effects still occur though. You may start having fits of anger at odd things or relapse and become a recluse. "Psychiatry isn't an exact science", is the most often used excuse and the biggest disqualifying factor of it being an honorable field of study.
