How can anybody promote mental illness? Is it ignorance or pure indifference that make people willingly ingest a plant that induces madness?
Fun fact: the CB1 receptor that is responsible for the feeling of being high also emulates schizophrenia.
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4034083/ >Cannabinoid intoxication can provoke toxic psychoses or symptoms similar to the positive symptoms of schizophrenia >cannabis seems to provoke an amotivational syndrome similar to the negative symptoms of schizophrenia >In humans, mounting evidence shows that CB1 receptor densities are altered in schizophrenia
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3138655/ >Our finding of increased CB1R binding in paranoid SCZ could reflect a greater involvement of the endocannabinoid system in the DLPFC in this subtype of patients with SCZ as may be suggested by their more marked positive thought disorders and delusional symptoms.
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4104335/ >We provide evidence that regular cannabis use is associated with gray matter volume reduction in the medial temporal cortex, temporal pole, parahippocampal gyrus, insula, and orbitofrontal cortex; these regions are rich in cannabinoid CB1 receptors and functionally associated with motivational, emotional, and affective processing.
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2424288/ >The strongest evidence that cannabis use is a contributory cause of schizophrenia comes from longitudinal studies of large representative samples of the population who have been followed over time to see if cannabis users are at higher risk of developing schizophrenia. >15-year prospective investigation of cannabis use and schizophrenia in 50,465 Swedish conscripts. The study found that those who had tried cannabis by age 18 were 2.4 times more likely to be diagnosed with schizophrenia than those who had not 16 and the risk of this diagnosis increased with the frequency of cannabis use. >27-year follow-up of the Swedish cohort that also found a dose-response relationship between frequency of cannabis use at baseline and risk of schizophrenia during the follow-up. The relationship between cannabis use and schizophrenia persisted when the authors statistically controlled for the effects of other drug use and other potential confounding factors, including a history of psychiatric symptoms at baseline. >supported in a three-year longitudinal study of the relationship between self-reported cannabis use and psychosis in a community sample of 4,848 people in the Netherlands >These findings have been replicated in one German and two New Zealand cohort studies.
The issue is there is not a lot of education on the right time and place to use this. In a parking lot or public place degenerate. In house with family degenerate. Before 5pm Degenerate.
Using it as a post work out to relax ok Using it for real medical reasons ok Using recreational after work ok
Smelling like it in public is annoying as fuck
Wearing shirts with pot leafs and stuff on it is out of style and stupid
Abosrbing the stoner cliche in your personality and acting like a stupid movie character like dazed and confused is fuckin annoying.
The generation that will grow up with it legalized will not use it as much. It lost its "This is a rare thing you cant buy in stores" "Only bad ass law breakers do this" stigma
Robert Collins
.gov fuck that We have to realize that weed will put alot of shit out of business such as acetaminophen. But to be high in public or to make a culture of being stoned ruins it. Making TV shows cooking with it and stuff is stupid.
>Supports legal abortion >Supports legal propaganda >Supports legal alcohol If you support any form of eugenics program designed to remove the subpar from the breeding pool, then you should support them all. Pot, meth, heroin, etc. serve purposes to allow people to have whatever life experience they want. Some people incarnate here to learn what life is like as an addict. The government has no right to take that way from them, especially not as we approach critical points in the overpopulation question. Thanking the government for taking away your rights is stupid, regardless of whether or not you would ever exercise such a right.
ok just let the (((Government))) and FDA control what humans ingest, sign me up for mental slavery! the war on consciousness, fuck god too, ban ALL plants right now! protect me from myself

That's just part and parcel of being a delusional leaf
Ya you are actually right, short-term inflammation anyway. Chronic inflammation leads to cancer, however.

>Chronic inflammation leads to cancer
true, that is very different from "basic inflamation", Ive been reading some stuff about importance of not stopping inflamation, turns out its might actually be very bad to put cold stuff on body when it gets injured since you shut down the natural inflamation signal and therefore slown down body repair (shutting inflamation prematurely will indeed make you more workable shortterm but you didnt repaired as you should)...apparently the guy who introduced putting cold stuff on injuries regreted it. interesting topic, inflamation.
