Humanity is blessed.

If by "warming up" you mean possibly converting , you are going about it the wrong way. Conversion to a religion should only be based on the truth of that religion. If you examine the evidence for Christianity and find it to be true, then it doesn't really matter what its tenants are since you should willingly be bound by them.
