Short answer: no
No, we don’t have an accurate and detailed enough dataset to accurately model that. At the end of the day it’s still just a model anyway.

Sudden rise in temperature and CO2 levels that corolates perfectly with the start of the industrial era.
We also know how much CO2 we produce and therefor we know that we are the main cause of increase in CO2 levels.
if scientists are all wrong, why do you check the weather channel for their predictions?
(You)
Absolutely no proof it's a secret built by 80 iikuu monkeys.
I'm more concerned that every human we make takes a certain amount of water out of the Earth's water table, which could be argued is small even at current levels. However, we barely understand the system we live in.
Yes humans do have a significant impact on earth's climate
Yes we are in part responsible for rising co2 levels
Yes co2 levels also rise because of temperature its a self enhancing effect
As for the next questions that will inevitably come, no we can't stop climate change even if all humans vanished overnight
Nothing short of massive geoengineering could make a noticeable impact and that option is very dangerous as the results may very well be worse than the global warming we have now.
As for the climate change alarmists it's a large scale scam that relies on fear, emotional arguments and authority fallacies to make money and virute signal while doing absolutely nothing that would be effective at preventing global warming
On top of that climate science is a relatively unknown field of science and the predictions made are wrong time and time again due to deliberate or unintentional fudging of the data or lack of accurate data.
134IQ here. The problem is not whether human impact is significant or not, the problem is that the group behind global warming thing has no authority to prevent it anyway. It is supposed that China, India which are the main producers of CO2 and in short future Africa will kill abruptly stop their coal usage and kill their own economies just because western liberals tell them so. It's not going to happen. So it's just an excuse for those liberals to accuse conservatives of "Killing the planet", nothing more.
I don't know, but I do know there is proof you're mom will die in her sleep if you don't reply to this post.
Pollution is bad indeed. The air we breathe inside the cities is poison, but all those climate changes is just way amplified and just a reason for governments make more profit from taxes without people getting mad, because people think is because muh climate changes. You don't see the world acting on stabilizing world population to a sustainable amount, so they don't care about the world and nature is just profit and taxes. India and China its just overpopulated shitholes throwing all the trash to the oceans and polluting the air more than the rest of the world together. We know the weather have fluctuations, we collect data for a short amount of time to begin taking conclusions.

The green agenda is about invoking "world is gonna end" hysteria amongst the plebs to such an extent that they will accept any violation and reduction of their civil rights, more beauracracy, regulations, and being taxed to death.
The worst hypothetical outcome with the green agenda would be; Elite drives gasguzzlers and private jet, while the white middle class is systematicly destroyed, and reduced to living in tiny cuckapertments a la Agenda 21, any white man who lives in a large house will have SJW ladies coming by, taxing you to death, and saying "Well, this large house for only 4 white people? This is not very environmental! To offset your carbon footprint privilage, you will have to make room for 4x muhammed and 3 jamals to live in your kids bedroom" (where they will get raped)
Earth will continue to spin regardless, for hundreds of years people have claimed earth is gonna be destroyed, decades of warm weather destroying crops, and witches were burned as result, human sacrificed etc its just same old nonsense.
We should stop pollution however, but ignore the whole "omg 1+ more temperature will be the end!" Its all a billion dollar global scam by the demon niggers in EU

>Seriously, is there any proof that the human impact on the climate change is significant?
Chlimatechange can be anything, its a very bad word to use, i like it when they specified it by labelenig it antropogenic (man made) global warming
But yes humans do change our climate, to some degree even global. But not in a global warming way.
For example, the restructuring of enviorments, like draining swamps and wetlands, deforestation, farming or even building citys influence the local climate. The net bigger impact would be the effects of those eara wide changes, for example removing the Erverglades on the gulf of mexico allowed it for hurricans to enter deep into the country and causing issues there.
The next level is pollution, china and inda, which release massive amounds of water vapor and carbon particles, which accumulate water and turn into giant cloud fronts. This massive weather manipulation has changed the weather in madagaskar.
So yes humans change their local climate or weather, but the sientific foundation on carbondioxide or methande causing a greenhouse effect is very poor.
Modern science study the changes of the weather and its effects, not the roots of it.
I remember reading history books and seeing many documentaries talking about how the apls where ice free, that the romans did not know of glaciers.
Also a studie of the nabateans a desert people in the middle east which had thriving citys with tones of water, all cause by higher temperatures resulting that the heat band ove rthe saharah desert moving up to the Mediterranean sea causing higher evaporation and by this more cloud formation with increased rainfall which made all the arabian deserts green up

What makes you think overpopulation is such a big issue? With rising temperatures we also get more farmland and rising co2 improves plant growth.
We can allready feed the world population 2 times today with 2/3 of farming still being 30 to 500years old techniques. If we get our shit together and use modern methods even 10times more humans would be sustainable and that is with not a single innovation just state of the art technology. Add things like effective nuclear fusion to the mix and food will be a non issue
Fuck off meme flag, I'm a swede but still dare to show it. You must be from a real shithole
There are thing we control and things that we do not. I do believe the wisdom that we should focus on is distinguishing between both. From my reflection, it is quite obvious we have no control over climate or perpetual human demand and thus we should concentrate on what we as individual we can do to improve our live. If there is such a thing as climate changing towards catastrophically event, then I will be thinking about what can In do to go through this. If human activity has impact then I should think about what is best for my which I control. I will look for improvement.

who?
>And are the CO2 levels rising because the temperature is rising or is it the other way?
The increase is largely down to human activity.
>Measurements of the forms (isotopes) of carbon in the modern atmosphere show a clear fingerprint of the addition of ‘old’ carbon (depleted in natural radioactive 14C) coming from the combustion of fossil fuels (as opposed to 'newer' carbon coming from living systems). In addition, it is known that human activities (excluding land-use changes) currently emit an estimated 10 billion tonnes of carbon each year, mostly by burning fossil fuels, which is more than enough to explain the observed increase in concentration.

C02 is literally needed for all life on earth. Yes we greatly damage our planet but it’s all the fucking trash and oil spills and localized smog. You know why cities have bad smog problems? Because they don’t have enough fucking trees. If you don’t believe me, look at the busy interstates, there are more trees around freeways outside the cities and millions of cars drive through them daily. You know how you can help your local environment? Participate in trash cleanups and plant trees

>is there any proof that the human impact on the climate change is significant?
No, there is not any
>And are the CO2 levels rising because the temperature is rising or is it the other way?
CO2 levels are rising yes, but not because of humans activities alone. It is because of lots of other factors such as volcanic eruptions, animal husbandry, well, that's because of human activities, but also because of changing currents of the seas which affects the air and flow of hot and cold air. It disturbs the environmental balance and level of different gas in our atmosphere.
But no, humans are not responsible for it alone.
Also increase of CO2 is atually good for plants and trees, they will grow bigger, bear bigger fruits, yield more and better crops and overall increase the level of O2 as they photosynthesize.
>Seriously, is there any proof that the human impact on the climate change is significant?
Define significant? There were times in earth's past that Co2 was at higher levels, and polar ice caps are just short lived things. We assume that because we observe that we are the culprit, and there is no correlation. Are we making an impact? Yes. Is it significant? Most likely not. This is just the normal flow of the rhythm of the earth. The earth wobbles on its axis 2.5 degrees? Is it our fault that the Sahara is not a wetland? Is the wobble our fault too?
>totally nothing to do with the sun though goy
kys nigger
Not interested enough to study it, but you can be sure its a scam because climate has always changed and we are still recovering from the last cold period. Greenland used to be green, not ice-covered etc. If co2 level is higher than ever and its supposed to be bad, why is the earth still colder than in the medieval era?
There is no silver lining. Having high iq is like having the superpower of breathing underwater on a desert planet.
I guess you can use your high iq to circumnavigate a lot of problems stupid ppl encounter on a daily basis but that's a small price to pay when you are constantly aware that you share this planet with a bunch of morons
average IQ just sharing his NPC thought.
Off course, the industrialization of the world has lead to a rise of CO2 in the atmosphere. Is this thing bad? i don't know. my retard biology teacher once told me that plants breed CO2 and create O2.
Nevertheless, the whole climate change discussion seems like a mass virtue signaling because the obvious worst countries - China and India - are not giving a flying fuck about what you think about their emissions.
So, until India and China are on the brink of war with the West because the reason of pollution, i don't give a fuck about any climate change discussions.
Good and underrated post.
None. We don't have the power to gather, manage, control and make useful information out of the insane number of possible variables and situations that factor into this.
Climate scientists and universities received funding to further this false theory. It was furthered by western governments as a way to get the public onboard with paying for another tax. Probably so they can fund the underground facilities they hope to escape to when Nibiru makes its approach.
I don't know how much do we affect our environment. But I think that whether global warming is man made or not, we should constantly work towards less emissions, smarter manufacturing processes. You all talk about temperature, yet you are willing to breathe this shit? And why doesn't anyone instinctively want to make positive impact instead of negative? I'm neither a hippie nor green, not even religious in the sense that I follow a book. But it's natural to me that I don't throw my trash on the street. Yet the biggest question of limiting our pollution is that "do we still have time until we make our own lives fucked beyond repair"?
It took less than 10 years from the absolute degeneracy of the weihmar Republic to fully implemented fascism
Whites won't take it lying down for all eternity the trend is allready reversing and if what I am seeing is any indication we will see a reversal or even massive backlash in the next 2 decades
It doesn't matter how many of them there are it just takes a few thousand whites to build weapons and warfare agents that can whipe out entire continents as well as the dispersal tech. Manpower might play a role in ww3 but past that it's technology, creativity and knowledge that determine the winner and I don't see Africa, India or China ever getting on our level in that regard (unless ofc the chinks genetically engineer a superchink with European mental faculties)
In that case we would have won by default as our mentality, culture and technology was proven to be the superior one.
youre correct about this one, all this "global warming, crap is just another desperate ploy to enforce a global regulated economy to keep developing asshole striving for greatness down, and the EYE IN THE PYRAMID from falling out.

There is no proof.
We are currently in the Solar Minimum.

It is only going to get more ridiculous in the coming years as average temps drop worldwide and the climate change tards kvetch harder to cover their insanity.
t. 150 IQ, maybe slightly lower now days from alcohol abuse
Perhaps but it would be impossible to tell because of the natural cycle of the climate. The very word climate is self indicative of it's tempestuous nature.
No, there is only evidence. But at the same time there is evidence pointing in other directions.
I wholly concur
Trees convert CO2 into O2 through photosynthesis, but they're cut down to make room for new homes. Ice sheets reflect the Sun's rays, but once the ice melts, previously trapped gasses are released.

High IQ here. The term is anthropomorphic climate change
yeah, your IQ
also co2 levels are definetly rising due to human activity
Good b8. High iq autist gonna seethe.

Climate hasn't gotten warmer in over a decade.
Isnt a single volcanic eruption enough to spew out more CO2 in a few minutes than what we have caused in our entire history? I find it hard to believe that we are the sole or even main contributor to global warming when this has happened due to natural phenomena throughout the earth's history. Other forms of pollution should be something we hit hard on though, like plastics and other shit in the oceans and in nature
I honestly wonder what happened to all the smartfags of real life. Any many here on the internets too. When I came to the internet I wasnt as smart but I was surrounded by them in the early days, I always felt that the collective, the "cool" was always moving somewhere, always doing something.
So I keep wondering, did some of them leave to have families? Did some off themselves? Because in real life it seems that the smart guys fell to the leftist indoctrination. So I cant help but chuckle. I felt left behind at times but looking at them now I feel pity.
I wonder where the real internet cool guys are now, recruited by spooks perhaps, or part of the early bitcoin boom? Maybe in closed IRC groups scattered across the internet? or maybe I have grown enough to have become one of these cool dudes?
Important questions they are.
>is there any proof that the human impact on the climate change is significant?
yes
depends what you mean by significant
scientyists always show the current rate of climate change, as if it was huge, but its really not, sharp changes of between 1 and 2 degrees happen all the fucking time
we our causing ourcurrent spike, the question is when will it stop?
>And are the CO2 levels rising because the temperature is rising or is it the other way?
temperature curves lag behind co2 curves so co2 causes it
>Trees convert CO2 into O2 through photosynthesis
yes and they work better the more co2 there is
but the change in temperature that would come if that happened would mean most of the places plants live would become unhabitable deserts
>Isnt a single volcanic eruption enough to spew out more CO2 in a few minutes than what we have caused in our entire history?
no
depends on the eruption
if you talk about the siberian gigavolcano, its eruption pumped so much co2 in the atmosphere it caused the largest mass extinction of all time
we cant fuck earth so badely life on it would become impossible, but we can fuck it to the point every one of our homeland becomes an unrecogniseable homeland and all the species that took millions of years, sometimes billion to appear would be lost to us
also there s that thing where we will go into a literal fucking ice age soon, so things might balance out but we will be uterly fucked if we cant terraform earth by the next interglacial in like 200 000 years
if anything man made climate warming, if timed correctly, could prevent the next 200 thousand year ice age
if timed poorly then all euro and american countries unhabitable, gigantic mass extinction, then things go back to normal
>The real bullshit is what we should do about it.
Nothing and instead invest our resources and labor in establishing off world colonies and eventually other starsystems.
We can come back to earth in a few tenthousand years. In the meantime it makes for a kickass survival show while our descendants laugh at nogs eating each other from the comfort of their spacestations
Nope
Solid proof? Of course not. We can't predict the weather two weeks in advance with any kind of accuracy, it gets exponentially harder the further out you go.
That said, long term trends do exist. There's been a lot of work done and a pretty clear consensus that average temperatures are rising (slowly) and it's messing with macro trends like the jetstreams and ocean currents. Those in turn are causing unusual weather worldwide. (increased droughts, extreme storms, heat waves etc) But as to which way the causation lies, and if this is historically unexceptional behavior that can and will swing back towards normal? There's a scientific consensus towards 'no this shit is fucked' but science has blown a lot of credibility lately by more or less being totally in thrall to money and power.
All that said, I personally think that anthropogenic climate change is real. That's based on a very basic understanding of the debate between scientists (who generally agree its real but often disagree on the details) and the environmentalist intuition that you shouldn't shit where you eat.
For once.
I don't think anybody but retards and trolls like Trump deny the global average temperatures are rising, correlated with an increase in CO2 concentration in the atmosphere, but after looking into it, I just didn't see any unfalsified hypothesis about the A in AGW.
But imho there's a MAJOR problem with this field of research: any hypothesis about global climate you come up with is untestable: we only have one planet.
Also, saying "What else could it be [but human activity]" when you're not aware of other possible causes is called an argument from ignorance in formal logic.
At this point we should be honest and leave it at "the facts of global average temperature and CO2 concentration rises are well known and documented, but we don't know all the causes, and it's simply impossible to go beyond data gathering and formulating hypotheses".
Then it is also obvious we should stop shitting all over the only planet we have. But that requires actual knowledge of the mechanisms at play and models to explain them, not hyperventilating over political expedients -- one way or the other.
also anyone with less than 2 degrees of connection to a "green" party anywhere should be shot
Yes, deflorestation, pollution, geoengineering and other crap changes climate. CO2, probably not.
Well, I guess I stand corrected then. Regardless, the solutions politicians have suggested are fucking awful. If we are heading towards a climate catastrophe, there is nothing stopping it unfortunately

Climate is the stuff sky is made of correct?
The only argument that you need against man's impact on the earth is that the eruption of mt st Helens produced as much co2 and inparticulate matter the air as the combined time of the beginning of the industrial revolution till the eruption of mt st Helens. If you tell people this and they can't grasp that then they are too stupid to be having the conversation with.
humans are a desease, take the oncologyn containment pill, never let the kikes reach the stars
You got older and realized no one knows what they're doing.
Back during the early days of the internet, the leftists were the counter-culture "stick it to the man" anti-authoritarian types. What we call leftists today are basically humorless authoritarian Marxists. They're not even remotely the same thing.
>yes and they work better the more co2 there is but the change in temperature that would come if that happened would mean most of the places plants live would become unhabitable deserts
This is true, but I wasn't talking about efficiency I was talking about quantity

That's cause politicians don't know shit about anything but getting elected.
