>people will say something is bad and still purchase it, and support the company. Complete and utter insanity. They are completely reliant on people buying. I know families and the like are good consumers for the stuff because they are more likely to buy widgets and software down the road, but there's tons of lifelong fan money they are throwing away not being more conscious of the obvious avid fans. I don't think having more nice stuff like little figures is bad if that's not coming at any expense to being basically decent in other ways, but they obviously have an agenda bending to cash flows. They have issues but at least they don't do what all their competitors are doing re: wringing out wallets with scams etc. as much. I get hostility for suggesting that people who continue to buy from people causing the issues are at fault probably because lots of people in these threads still buy from direct political and cultural opposition or people ruining industries they like. It's baffling.
>As much as I share your optimism for space travel and annoyance for the seeming lack of progress, I think that there is probably a lot more work to be done before people could live safely on another body. That was at least the opinion of lots of private and public aerospace people I've talked to, that it is indeed technologically now possible to do long term orbital missions and moon bases at huge cost that would benefit Mars settlement, but of course they have an agenda.
>Have you gotten a chance to see 'Apollo 11' yet? Ah gosh, I haven't. Would you ever want to watch it again? I can throw it on tonight regardless of if you wanted to watch with. If you don't feel like it would be really fun to watch again I'll just give my impression ASAP.
I've asked before I'm sure but I don't remember your answer, you know of Brady Haran, no?

this is Grenell's response (Germany ambassador):
> "The President's recognition of Pride Month and his tweet encouraging our decriminalization campaign gives me even more pride to once again march in the Berlin Pride parade, hang a huge banner on the side of the embassy recognizing our pride, host multiple events at the Embassy and the residence, and fly the gay pride flag."
> Asked specifically whether the embassy will fly the flag on its flagpole outside the building...spokesman Joseph Giordono-Scholz said only: "the pride flag will be on as many places as it can at the Embassy."
Faggots and slavers. Dr. Pepper is a brand owned by the Keurig Dr Pepper company, of which a majority share is owned by JAB Holding Company. The company uses slave labor to grow their coffee for K-cups, Nestle, Caribou Coffee and others. coffeehabitat.com/2016/03/slave-labor-in-your-cup/ Why is it whenever a liberal leaning advertisement is released, I can find money coming from slave labor within 5 minutes?
even if they weren't scamming it's just bad in general market practice to support something you oppose. actions speak louder than words and that's doubly so for businesses i do not know how this concept is lost on people but on the political end of things it's something the right struggles with. some of it is indifference to their effect on the market, some of it is addiction to the content, and a lot of it comes from people's irrational belief that there is some overarching plot to history and that some magic force, be it Justice or Love or God Himself, will descend to right all wrongs eventually and that absolves them of responsibility to make things right
>No error code OH WHAT GOAT'S SLIT THROAT DO YOU WANT FROM US, HIROSHIMOOT?
>overarching plot to history and that some magic force, be it Justice or Love or God Himself, will descend to right all wrongs eventually and that absolves them of responsibility to make things right I think that's a large part of it, people can't seem to accept that they have any responsibility or part to play. Also have a backup ready because you're being hunted along with our pirate friend.
