Why does air travel cost so much more in North America than in Europe?
Why does air travel cost so much more in North America than in Europe?
our planes typically make it to their destination
Cause you have to sit beside fat mouth breathing america mutts on american airlines, europeans are much more attractive.
yea we used to have a couple flights that would take you straight to the pentagon or the WTC
Lack of TSA bs and less distance to fly in Europe.
For the same reason European grassroots would never allow Americans migrating there. We pay much more and expect much less. We are too dumb to demand a month of paid vacation. We are too dumb to demand universal healthcare. We would be mexicans in Europe undermining the natives with our slave mentality.
you're not european...
Because even tough our fuel costs more.
Car trips are faster because speed limits are bigger and enforcement is lower.
Also Americans travel for family and jobs. Europeans travel for leisure.
Their aren't picking the cheaper flight to their destination, they are picking the destination with the cheapest flight.
because the price includes a levee that covers the amount of compensation that boeing have to pay out when their 737 maxes crash
levy. doh
That doesn't explain why New York-Chicago is more expensive than London-Rome when the latter is longer distance.
Taxing billionaires is LITERALLY Stalinism
Nailed it. Why fly in Europe when you can take a train anywhere in a day. In the US you can literally only cross Montana, that’s one state, in a day.
You're either lying or retarded. I just flew 1200 miles round trip for $100
Flying in NA is cheap as fuck. Had a round trip from Toronto to Atlanta under 300 bucks.
Kek. Minimum wave is ACTUALLY socialism, you have a right to PURSUE happiness not a guarantee. Lol.
Honestly don't know. Maybe American airlines are more privatized and therefore put more costs on consumers?
I guess it'd just depend on the airline / day of the week / time of day. It's not that large of a discrepancy
Kek
Ryanair London to Rome is currently €23.15. The meal you buy when you get there is probably going to be more expensive.
Bigger country, worse logistics lots of smaller airports that are supported by smaller operations.
Also as a leaf our airspace is expensive bto fly in so much so that some airlines fly less efficient routes just to avoid it. And our airport fees are insanely high.
easyJet to most places in Europe is £40-£70 return, even expensive countries like Switzerland
Or in dollars that is $26.26
Lol
