My dad who used to be a cop said police forces need more funding by the federal government which the Department of Justice does do. They need more funding because the prices of hotels are rising due to rising costs of living and it's hard to carry out prostitution sting operations with a limited budget. Street prostitution stings only net repeat criminals but if you can do prostitution stings in big hotels you can arrest top level people like top engineers, lawyers, accountants, etc so they are more important since these people are suppose to be role models not criminals.
Why is Trump not giving more funding to police forces did he not say he wanted to help the police? This also ups officers moral because i remember police in the public statement said that they enjoy doing these stings. One officer even got suspended after saying he was sexually aroused just by doing the stings. So it makes police officers higher moral for dealing with other crimes.
Fuck that. Police departments have a budget every year and it never goes down. It only goes up. They always want more. When it gets to the end of the year and they haven’t reached their budget they start wasting shit. They do burnouts to wear out tires.
