I unironically think that when we look for life on other planets that we're looking for life in the wrong place by looking only at the outer surfaces of those planets. I think of a planet as being like a house and houses are meant to be lived on the inside. We're living on the roof of our house and are at the mercy of the elements. It's probably rare as fuck for life to exist on the outer surfaces of planets. Alternatively, we can think of the inner surface of a planet as being like the 'womb' of that planet (which keeps us safe from things like asteroids and cosmic radiation) and that when a sapient species living on the inner surface of a planet becomes able to leave that planet, that species has become a spacefaring civilisation.

Earth is both honeycomb-like AND hollow. It doesn't have to be one or the other. It's both. Consider for a moment that if there were people living on the inner surface of a planet and they didn't possess some type of technology to see through the crust of their planet, they'd have no idea that there's an entire universe beyond their planet. I don't know about that. It's probably best to discard all of our assumptions of what advanced non-human civilisations would do (or at least our most anthropomorphic assumptions, anyway). For example, an advanced non-human civilisation might have no interest whatsoever to explore all of their planet because they've developed a type of virtual-reality technology so seductive and immersive that they lose all of their interest in reality and instead live their entire lives in their perfect virtual-reality worlds. And like I already said earlier in this thread (in this post here: ), they might not even know that there's more to the universe than the inner surface of their planet. They might not even know that there's an outer surface of their own planet. This could be a type of Great Filter.

Earth has a central 'sun'. Every planet has a central 'sun' (this is why Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune have auroras - just like Earth does). Hyperborea is just another name from the Inner Earth World that exists inside the hole at the North Pole, that's why 'Hyperborea' means 'extreme north' in Greek.
