Instead of focussing on her degenerating as such, focus on how she degenerated him. Nearer to the end she is mad at him for not being a strong man and not redpilling her when he still had a chance: Here we make it rellatable to 35+ single feminists.
Instead of blaming themselves for their shallow life, they hold weak men accountable for not taking the upper hand, which is partly true.

This is the final redpilling in the book: Kathy succumbs to her feminine weakness and admits that she needed a man in her life, as every woman does, otherwise you go astray. Alex dies in a final attempt to save her life (a stupid death like he was bringing her cocaine and got ran over by a car) and we have an epilogue off her mourning realising he was her true love. She still holds grudge against him for not being a proper man when they were young, and this makes her angry in turn: you shouldnt hold grudge against the dead, and also it's non-feminist. She is in depression in a viscious circle of being mad at herself and at Alex.

I like this viewpoint but I also think that this might be a little heavy. Maybe we can get the same themes across for the breakup but with fewer deaths. I also think the primary goal should be to wake people up to the worship and that stuff. I think if we try and cram every single idea we want into the book it might be too telling. If we just focus on one thing it may be more believable
