It is possible. I know a blue eyed guy with a brown eyed mother and blue eyed father. If he has children with a blue eyed woman that also has one brown/blue eyed parent it wouldn't be unlikely that their child would have brown eyes.

yeah but the main alleles which decide brown or blue only come in pairs, so if both your parents have a blue gene there's a chance you can inherent only blue eyes genes and thus make it impossible for your kid to have brown eyes unless your partner has a brown eye gene (or just brown eyes in general)
