Whats the truth about this peculiar form of entertainment?

One of the last rays of light left in the world

Depending on the genre it can be either the most obnoxious and repetitive media around or one of the most creatively unique.
Most of the time it's shit tho, so I don't blame people here hating it.

Anime is real now

okay fair enough, but what's the obnoxious end and whats the "creative" end in your opinion?

It's the last bit of media that Jew claws haven't touched. Thus making some of it based.

anime girls are cute but watching anime is degenerate and youll get the rope

It is based and redpilled because the Jew fears the Samurai

Let's start with the "obnoxious" part : moe.
Moe attracts moetakus, the worst sort of otakus there are in japan because they are superficial brats not interested in the morals, ethics or arguments posed by a story but by the merchs and the "fapping power" of the follow-up materials.
Moe culture is literally the cancer of anime and manga and it shows in every piece of works conveying "moe" first and foremost : repetitive storylines, bland characters (if at least visually appealing and sometime creatively unique in physique), obvious base-pandering setups and conclusion. It's so trope-y you can basically regurgitate the plot of those using few words that could associate with tens of other works in the medium.
tl;dr : it's shit. I often include isekai in that, because more often than not it pander to the moe crowd who want an elf, a princess, or whatnot in a more believable setting.
Shonen is the middle ground between creative works and obnoxious. Those stories are there specifically to pander to young boys; however, young boys are not often attracted to romance, harems or whatnot: they want heroism, they want relatable, and they want a cause to the effects in-universe. The setups of shonen are often the same, and the character dynamics repetitive, but the conclusion and morals at the tail-end of the story often differ greatly, because the actions are more reactionary than in .
tl;dr : it's transitional.
And then we get into the creative stuff. It's often overlooked in Japan, and more often than not it's classified as seinen, for mature. Few of them get anime adaptation, that is if it didn't pop up in an anime first. Japan's notorious cyberpunk or semi-cyberpunk works like Ghost in the Shell, Akira and Ergo Proxy; existentialist stories like Serial Experiment Lain and Revolutionary Girl Utena; the ridiculously over-the-top works that are just so weird it actually works;

And finally the fringe stuff, stuff that would usually be considered in the two above categories of moe and shonen but are exceptions to the rules because of how they break standards: deconstructions and reconstructions of the genres, like in Evangelion, that anime about the little schoolgirls surviving a zombie apocalypse (can't remember the name), Puella Magi Madoka and some others.
Often these works just don't pierce up from their starting medium, or get axed by the studios that don't see the profits compared to moe.
tl;dr : it's the fucking weird stuff, in all definitions of the term.

Of course, not everything about the three above categories fit the bill on every anime and manga ever.
Shoujo for example is a minefield. Good Shoujo stories are rare. One example of a good one is Palace Meidi, one of the only Shoujo work that really stuck out to me. More often than not it's brainless courting and it really gets on the nerve of a reader not prepared for just that.
There are also the few gems in each categories, and the ur-examples : for example, Hokuto no Ken has all the shonen tropes of our age, but it's actually pretty good when you realize that it MADE those tropes.

>he doesn't like cute girls doing cute things

There is cringe anime and serious anime.
There is cringe anime: myanimelist.net/anime/28825/Himouto_Umaru-chan
And there is serious anime: myanimelist.net/anime/239/Gankutsuou
There is anime that make you lose your time into a endless circle of strange and weird expressions and no significance in the whole.
There is anime that will make you think how intrigue exist and it will complicate what are people for you. There is significance in the past of characters own life and explanation.

Never said that, but cute girls doing cute thing for cuteness' sake gets more often than not repetitive, and nobody needs a channel spewing variations of that setup every day.
It brings absolutely no culture to do so, so to speak.

The jew fears the samurai

Its filled with a bunch of pretentious faggots. Anime elitists are a cancer.

It's based and redpilled. Kikes can't touch it and roasties are afraid of it. Anyone bringing up the faggot leaf and his rant about trapfags is a kike or resetera tranny that cannot cope.

Unironically the last form of uncucked entertainment left on the planet. Anime is absolutely shameless about giving people the fanservice they want, which would get drowned in howling cries of "muh sexism" in the contemporary west. Anime has no problems with employing right wing aesthetics whenever it feels like it. It's hardly restrained by any of the tiresome taboos that govern our own entertainment at home.

All of which is why liberals, feminists and the whole lot have already set their sights on destroying anime too. Sites like ANN and Animefeminist are trying to coax and shame anime creators into adhering to liberal standards of what prim and proper entertainment is allowed to do. Crunchyroll is funding Western cartoon projects by fat feminist women and trannies in hopes to show the japs their vision of what anime should be like. The motherfucking UN is trying all the damn time to ban anime they don't like under the guise of "b-but think of the children." There is a suistained campaign to destroy anime as we know it, because then there will exist no more alternative to the Hollywood "entertainment" (read: propaganda) preaching liberal feminist values all day every day. So far, the japs have resisted. Hopefully they will keep doing so. The Jew fears the Samurai after all.

Let's not. /thread

As Is aid in the post above, cute things are nice.
Cute thing for cuteness sake however is devoid of any weight.

Q board boomers hate it, good trolling opportunity

Leaf knows his shit.

My un-needed hot take is that Megalobox has been one of the best fully contained stories I have seen in a very long time.

We need pro white art, writing, comicbooks, animation, music, general entertainment.
