What I distrust about climate change is that is all based on models. Models that can only be tested against data from the past, there aren't any other planets to check te validity of the models.

The models are basically computational fluid dynamics models, I use the same techniques in my chemical engineering courses.

In CFD you have a fully determined initial condition, your cells are tiny and it takes a week to accurately simulate a steam cracking reactor operating for a minute. While these models of the earth use cells that are 100km wide, need to take into account plants, interactions with the oceans, atmospheric chemistry that isn't even fully known yet. When Al Gore made his movie they didn't even account for fotosynthesis. And they only have the possibility to measure all necessary data since the 80s. It's absurd that these models are considered reliable. They don't accurately predict local climate but they assume that the average is valid. They claim to have a physical model yet it's essentially just pretending to be one while they make it fit to past data.

The most redpilling facts I think are sealevel rise and the fact that it's been hotter before and there's been more CO2 before.

It's an exaggeration. Most models are produced with faulty feedbacks that go against what NASA had calculated in the 20th century. The estimated data and observed data show similar patterns, but show drastic overestimation.

I had a conversation with professor Christy here at UAH about climate feedback loops. Anthropogenic climate change is real, but Earth's climate system is robust and self-stabilizing, and the scope of the effects being predicted are not represented in reality.

It is a range depending on what type of plant. It is commonly accepted that plants thrive around this ppm CO2. Greenhouses for example regularly pump in 1200+ ppm CO2 and would do more if it were free, but there are dimishing returns on investment over that.
