And even if it was SUPER-MEGA-HYPER DANGEROUS, they wouldn't be in there long enough to have any effect other than a slightly elevated risk of some cancers later in life. Are you a moron? The lunar surface is rock covered by a thin layer of dust. The engine bell blew away the topmost layer of dust into the surrounding area but couldn't break up the rock beneath.

The astronauts didn't "break" the surface, they compacted the dust lightly into footprints. Like how your lardarse compresses snow into footprints.
