The builder was shit so it came to lawyers to get the house he made false claims to the tax office which cost more money in lawyers to clear up that was an eye opener and lucky there were already laywers involved because the tax office is shady as fuck. Since then ive had a kid (child care fees are fucked) and work has moved me away i was all ready to sell then a few weeks ago a few properties in the suburb lowballed their prices dragging the rest of the place down with them so i lost 50 grand of value and scared off a tenent for a place that probably won't be able to be sold now. Every day with it is a kick in the nuts. If i was to do it all again i would keep saving the same amount that you would for a deposit or close too and keep that for when you retire. The money the bank gives you isnt real only the debt is.
