The 70s, 80s, and especially in the 90s advertised black athletes as super human heroes to look up to.
They were marketed to kids super hard in the 90s. Trading cards, games, tv shows, movies, et cetera.
I'm not surprised white people think highly of them physically even when they falter in other areas. They can't market them as wholesome heroes anymore because most black athletes are just rich thugs. No more than rappers on roids.
