It’s a big fucking scam. I used to work at a museum, many of the art and pricey artefacts of history are owned by rich people who put the items for public ‘use’ or exhibition. It’s some form of tax loop where they don’t get taxed or they get taxed significantly less because of this loophole. It’s well known many of the owners are Jewish/have ties to jewish money. Individuals or companies can use this loophole and many of the really high end items are mainly owned by people with ties to Israel or one of the rich UAE countries.
