Recognizing your own limitations is a good first step. Don't seek to lead. Seek to put your own life in order. cultivate virtues: ambition, diligence, physical strength, temperance, etc. Use your virtues to develop yourself socially, professionally, and intellectually. Find a woman. Start a family. Then, after all of that, if you still have an excess of ability, time, and energy, use it to help your local community in some small way.
