I’ll assume you are referring to the US government for simplicity. You would easily end up with a power vacuum that would quickly be filed by elite groups possibly the same ones that already have control, however you have given them an excuse to say the rights and liberties of the former US government clearly failed so you now have a despotic dictatorship at worst. At best no elite group unilaterally takes control, but aside from very likely Balkanization or total anarchy what stops foreigner powers like Russia China or the shit skins hordes from either picking the corpse clean or claiming it as their rightful domain considering the previous legitimate government is gone?

Assuming you can set that up before any major power starts to take chunks of lands and likewise that a privatized military of lets be generous and say half the size of the current US military (roughly 67,909 Only counting active military cut in half) can be deployed trained and armed efficiently (as herculean of a task that may be especially in a anarchist situation). You would be using a small and most likely poorly equipped and trained army against superpowers wanting to control you.

The top fifteen of the Fortune 500 companies alone would be able to sustain the United States military as it currently exists, and would have all the incentive to do so to preserve the liberty of American markets and trade routes. But even without that, after the American population has fully embraced Anarcho-Capitalism anyone attempting to revive the tyranny of the State would be met with one-hundred million bayonets. Every citizen would be able to own a fully-automatic weapon, in addition to stocks of grenades and explosive armaments. The question you should ask yourself is: why hasn’t there been a presidential candidate that runs on the premise of once in power, they will march the army into congress to dissolve it?

Your assumption is that those companies would work with revolutionaries and not simply ban together to some degree to stomp them out for their own goals or be loyal to the US government.
Your also assuming every person would embrace a revolution they didn’t want and had no part of. If an archocapitalist revolution did occur it would spend a rather long time fighting the US military, other revolutionary groups, and loyalists militants or that you could even form a united-front to being with.

That’s more an example that the us military is awful at fighting partisan and gorilla wars then just being bad at conventional war.

The rail lines are actually a bad example they had to receive huge sums of money from the US government and likewise approval in the first place. Several of the early proposals for the rail line and companies that wanted to build it involved favoring and fucking over states, going through lands they legally couldn’t due to them being Mexican territory, and sucking politicians dicks. It was far less companies doing it by themselves and more several companies playing politics for funds and political favor this was as much government as it was private industry.

So what about the highways? Are you prepared to get stopped at a toll booth for every mile you use the privatized roads?
